Has Christianity become an introverted religion?

Many of the eastern religions encourage believers to sit down, cross their legs, and through some type of meditation go into themselves to the point where they are actually in a trance. I don't know what they experience when they are in one of these trances, but it must be like being on drugs. The Christian religion is an objective religion. That is, it is outside of us. What Christ accomplished in his life, death, and resurrection was totally outside of us, we had nothing to do with it. We simply believe it and have faith in it. Religion is subjective, much like eastern religions you must go into yourself, usually to fight with your inadequacies and sins. Religion turns your eyes inward to yourself. There is no strength in and of yourself. This will only cause you doubt and you will become frustrated. My book, "The Apostle's Doctrine", will help you to look to Christ who is our mighty fortress and god.
